Haha, whereas mine all have the decided air of the condemned man/woman/strange little gnome. Someone really should've told them they couldn't absorb 16 weeks of calculus with no work. Oh wait, I did... repeatedly... More fool them for thinking I won't fail half my class... again

Mind you, BU making a student cry with happiness today Image (may or may not have managed the other sort before...) After a summit meeting following two dead fails on tests, he turned things around for a solid C on this one. Work: can work :)

Yes, i decided I had to leave them on a positive, encouraging note and so got em to write down some passions/qualities and areas of the industry they are interested in, then we talked about what kinds of jobs they might end up doing.

and CUTE that your student cried with happiness retzie! and big  at strange little gnomes thinking they could pass with flying colours..

So went to Sydders for the job innerview yesterday and...I got it! W00T! Big responsibility, big opportunity to make big money too.

Small downs to catching 'something' on the plane. If it's the swine flu I'll be a little put out. Bi-carb is helping :)

Also small downs to having to run across two airports in stupid shoes which have now ruined me and I'm in large amounts of agony today.

Thanks El. I be working for Digital World Warehouse (www.dww.net.au), a distributor selling mainly to game traders and such. Slightly new for me but selling is selling really. The big part is that I'm opening the Melbourne branch, so the next few months are crucial. If I go well I'll get some underlings and move into management. Until then I'm on the road most days, 6 appointments a day if I can manage it, running around to all the people selling consoles and gaming equipment trying to flog my wares. Very scary being the only person in the office, the only Melbourne contact, but I'm envisaging busy times ahead and busy means money :smt003

Gongrants Mixy.

Big Ups to kicking goals today. Dispite constantly being undermind by management I still prove to them my ability to be good at my job.

Also Big Ups to being congratulated (for the first time) on my work by management. Usually these people are cunts and always find the bad things in good work, today only had big ups.

Hehe, 95% of my classes are male and they are great big sooky-la-las. I have had crying from failing a test before, tantrums about being wrong and I have also heard way more detail about medical predicaments than I would ever possibly want to know. It's like they think I'm a nun or something which is not far of in this place :?
Smile on Impact wrote:Has anyone ever use powerade, gatorade or pocari sweat or anything like that in a cocktail >???
Um... *cough*blue powerade and vodka*cough*. Wasn't too bad actually - just as long as you don't let it get warm.

Big up to Adrian's Dad, who was happy to look over my new contract before I sign it to be sure it's kosher. The man consults for the government so I'm pretty darn happy he took the time! He happened to be in a meeting with the ex HR manager of Telstra and they discussed it over coffee for heaven's sake! I feel safe now :)
