Mac mouse help! argh!!
Mac mouse help! argh!!
Anyone know where to find mouse preferences on a mac other than in the system preferences? For some reason, when I click on menus they don't stay open unless I hold down the mouse button... anyone know how to fix this? I'm using 10.5.6... thanks!

SteerMouse is what you want: http://plentycom.jp/en/steermouse/
The OS X mouse drivers are horrid for any decent pointing device (not the "mighty" mouse).

Actually I re-read your post and steermouse my not actually fix your problem. Worth a try through - it will give you much better control.
Anyway, I don't have a Mac at work so I can't check but have a look in the Universal Access preferences.

macs = "user friendly"?
your mac = not user friendly
therefore your 'mac' is not a mac
ive never had an annoying problem like that which would prompt me to want to format+reinstall osx. reinstalling = pc annoyance
refund imo
