Branded Beats w/ LD + Marty B + Smile on Impact, 2nd Oct

This month we're back in fuller-than-full force for a special edition of BRANDED BEATS. We've hooked up with our mates from TOO MUCH! to make a 3 crew party across the ENTIRE Mercat Cross hotel - that's the 2 upstairs room, the balcony AND the basement..!

In the Basement we have a special guest all the way from the UK - L.D. - and the dubstep don is bringing a huge crate of dubs fresh from Transition Studios, where by day he cuts dubs for all the big names in the scene. After having mastered all the freshest tunes to perfection, he goes home and smacks out his own killer productions (with releases on Hyperdub, Dub Police, 2nd Drop, and more to come), as well as tight-as-you-like mixing. His DJ debut came on the mammoth DMZ second birthday, and his intro today is still remembered by everyone who bawled for the instant wheel. Full support from Melbourne's best dubstep DJs, on the mammoth HEARTICAL HI-FI..!

Upstairs we've asked over Adelaide's busy boy in breaks - DJ MARTY B - to come over and smash it out like he does best. Known for his weekly Thursday night show 'Down Under Breaks' on NSBradio.co.uk, as well as his slot on S.A.'s freshFM, you can be sure he'll have the fresh traxx for a party. Assisting him is local Producer SMILE ON IMPACT, fresh on the heels of his recent 'Stop!' EP releases, which also nurtures local breaks, electro and dubstep talents on the Remix EP such as Baron Von Rotton and What Now? Full support from Melbourne's best Breaks, DnB and Dubstep DJs across the entire top floor..!
