Sup folks, just a bit of a production update from me.

For those of you that felt the new system was lacking at friction and break I would firstly like to extend my sincere apologies. The problem was that our fabulous new nexo line array had been installed with sub sufficient power on the subs which resulted in low system headroom (overall volume) and fairly unexciting bass in general. Since then Ive spent quite a lot of time getting to know the rig and its strengths and limitations and this week have doubled the power on the subs from one Camco Vortex 6 to two. The maximum continuous power available to the subs is now 9.6KW spread across 4 channels of 4 ohm loads. Those who are into their tek stuff will realise that while on paper thats the same power that was being drawn from a single stereo amp by the 4 subs at 2 ohms a side, the limitations of the power supply both to and within the amp mean that the real power output from only one amp is a lot lower than two with the lighter loads.

So.... To cut a long nerdy story short, the system now rocks. Its loud, in tru nexo style its clean as a whistle, and now you can really feel the bass. The total system power is an extremely satisfying 15KW and because its a line array its crystal clear right out to the sides of the room, at the bar, and on the back wall.

The Nexo Alpha-E that did so well for so long in the mid room is now installed in the back, and in my opinion performs even better in that environment.

Maximum respect out to Derek and Heartical who of course will be testing the strucural integrety of the 2nd floor. The thought of soundclashing will you and your amazing rig fills my heart with fear!
