But I dont know if I will EVER advertise in 3Dworld.
it is ugly, wanky and does not cover all genres. And hence ends a fantastic 6 year relationship with what in my opinion, was always the better free street mag in this town.

I saw a little mag next to Beat today.
Agrred Inpress was always a better read from a punters perspective.
I've never paid for advertising in any street press.
I did use to write reviews for 3D World and they looked after me better than other mags. Mind you it was hop hip and d'n'b I was reviewing.

Advertising in 3D is pointless for Miss L's. My whole vision here is that we cover ALL kinds of music, from hip hop to techno, from acoustic music to experimental, from psy trance to heavy bands, from art shows to sex party meetings! Thats why I do one full page ad, with everything, and put listings in relevant sections be it art/band or electronic.

The seperation of these mags has meant that now, I either advertise in both, or neither.

When you spend $1k a week on advertising you deserve to be notified of these kinds of changes.
And now I must explain to all my djs and promoters why they are now just "DJ TALENT" when I have got 50,000 better things to do.

and nope, fees are the same.

this is why the owner of the company is coming in on monday to explain to me why I should keep giving them my advertising spend, but to me, they have split their demographic, so unless I get a full page in each for the same price as one, no dice really.

i was 'promoted' 1 month before i was made redundant and i only found out as it said network engineer on my redundacy check after it had said support analyst for 7 years before that. i assume they did this so they could hire another support analyst when they realised they made the wrong person redundant huhuh.

i've been arguing with optus for a week solid ... currently entering my third hour on the phone to try to sort out how they've fucked everything up. tried to cancel one contract, change the other plan & unlock my iphone at the same time. now nothing fucking works.
