im pretty sure this asshat just called my wife - http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/victor ... 5970894442

she said she was not intrested he then yelled at her for wasting his time and told her to FUCK OFF. he even had our address and everything. local cops just said call 000 if anyone shows up, yea right. Told her to get the biggest kitchen knife and my baseball bat from under the bed instead.

Had a telemarketer call my mobile yesterday. Never had one call my mobile before

He knew my name, and obviously my phone number

Said he was from "VIP" something or other. Couldn't really understand what he was saying (thick subcontinental accent)

Shit got weird when I asked him how he got my number. He said he'd got it "from his database". Said no thanks and asked him to please remove my number from his list, to which he replied "look mate, i'm not trying to piss you off".........that's about as aggressive as it got, but I'm pretty sure that line isn't one of the prompts on his screen. He then hung up on me

Wouldn't normally be weirded out by a telemarketer, but the fact that this guy had my name and mobile number was a bit disconcerting. Have been tossing up whether or not to call the number back....pretty sure if I do nobody'll pick up

Doesn't seem like such a coincidence now I've read Fents post and the attached article

Morning fuckers.

Can't decide if this is a gripe or a big up: had a phone interview today. Teaching job in what sounds like a pretty cool department. The catch is that it's not really a research job and is also 'for life'. Really don't know how I feel about a permanent job here :?

Fingers crossed that this just means my application has the goods and I'll get interest from other, clearer-cut places.

Hrm, feel weird :|

Nope (wouldn't even have applied if it were.) In Maryland, about 2 hours south of DC. A really nice coastal place by the sounds of it, but still in the sticks :?

Lol - have not said Bring It On in years.

Back in the 'rave days' I used to have a clothes company called "Bring it on clothes company"

Used to you glow in the dark ink and sell it at stalls at Earthcore and TBH parties etc. DJ Chuck-E was our man and used to wear them when playing to promo. Also used to sell them in Euthanism (sp?) and a few places. Havn't thought about that in years.

Then the movie Bring It On came out and i dumped the label.

Used to give them to good dancers at parties and a card with my mobile number. Then when little trippers would come up asknig about them cause the designs glow they would call me and i would sell them out of the boot of my car in morning. Kids on rugs = $.

^^^ hahah i used to make and sell glow jewlery too, had exclusive rights in australia to some cool stuff they used on big rigs...
i think i still have one or two for nostalgia reasons. sold a range to dangerfield, and my bf at the time spent all the money on rugs, end of exclusive rights.

fun times - in hindsight!

hai guys.

adelaide is not so bad, when you has wifi & stocked fridge & sunshine.

points to note

- everyone drives like they are on valium here. my road rage is at a high.
- fashion is backwater plus. EURGH
- coming here makes me realise that we are nowhere near as alcoholic in melbs. hung out with friends yesterday who drank for 12 hours straight, for no reason really. everything we did, ended & began with a drink somewhere.
