Ohhh shit that's right. Yeah the swap meets got done recently because loads of stalls were selling pirated software.
Seriously, I can't believe that didn't happen sooner. It's a damn shame though, because you used to be able to get some really cheap hardware there. I'm astounded that whoever was organising those swap meets allowed vendors to sell cracked software like that. It was only a handful of stalls though that were doing it, and now we all have to suffer. I'm sure they had a policy of "we take no responsibility for it blah blah blah", but still, considering it was being sold to the public, and because of the risk of litigation, you'd think they'd bother to occasionally wander around and say "Hey, you're not allowed to sell that. Get out."
Sad panda.

If something needs a patch to run XP then its safe to say its some non-standardised wackery which roughly translates to 'don't buy me, i'll turn on you later...' in my language.
Also its best not to buy Sony products; because according to them you're a criminal.
Toshiba notebooks are a good thing.
My uncle does graphics stuff and has a HP with a Quaddro iinit but its got a big screen.
