i thought it was demonstrated in tests that if a car is over engineered so that you cant hear the engine noise people wont be attracted to it - even if it drives well etc - so it would make sense to have sounds from an electric car

mmm yeah a golf r32 would be mad, they sound awsome and go pretty good as well, a guy i worked with got one from his dad as a b-day pressie, about 3 years ago,

i also love euro touring wagons

my next purchase will be a volvo V70R ( AWD 2.5L turbo produces 300 horsepower and 295 ft. lbs. of torque between 1,950 and 5,250 rpm )

with a minor tune of the cars computer you can get 350bhp with a flat torque curve from 2000rpm to 5200rpm.

sex on wheels. When I hear them coming up the street I'll stop in mid conversation with a gentle hand *stop*...and listen as it goes past *drool* I do the same with Harley's. Love a rumbling engine.

After seeing it die a slow death due to rust, I decided I was not going to buy another car until I get a car port/garage. Not sure if that is ever going to happen, though. :(

I had fun in a car today! I did the Murcott's safe driving course at Sandown for work. It was awesome, and very challenging. My heart was going so fast before I had to do the emergency stops!
