has anyone seen this site?

www.elance.com

I was introduced to it yesterday

Good opportunity for anyone who's doing freelance that's looking to increase business aswell as anyone who needs to sub contract projects.

Looks good.

I haven't given it a good going over yet - i like the concept though.

tried using it a few months back, had to deal with big companies from sth america hustling hard, and people doing projects for next to nothing.
Was too hard for me personally to get ANY work.

On the flipside I'm using them at the moment for parts of a back-end site build. Very competitive, big players o/s that are price competive and have strong history on the site, which I understand would make it hard for local freelancers. The site is structured well, so you're generally covered, have no probs recommending it. Others in the same space worth looking at are odesk.com and guru.com but haven't used either.

if you're hustling for work
try getting signed up at www.arteis.net
the designer end of logoworks
some people on yay and b3s seem to do quite well out of it
