Seriously though there are to many to mention. Besides, i don't think that you can pit some new school guys against those that have been around for so long and are STILL make exceptional material. Too much of a handicap..

You could have just put Konflict [rob + Kemal] and then kemal wouldn't have had the unfair advantage of having a more memorable name, whilst freeing up a bit more space for BLACK SUN EMPIRE and where the hell is DOM AND ROLAND and what about PHACE and okay you get my point. I hate these gee up threads, I bite every time.

Kemal deserves the more memerable name... his solo work rocks just as much as their due work... Rob Data didn't do much solo work at all...

hands down its Steve Albino, allthough he dislikes the title producer and prefers recording engineer, same diff especially with his work with Big Black, Rapeman and Shellac where he wrote the music, recorded everything and mixed it. he ven designed and built hisown studio form scratch, including acoustic specifications adn the type of bricks used in construction. the guy is a genius.
runner up - Joe Meek.
