I grew up a Demons fan in a Bombers household. I have done my time and yesterday was like a dream come true. Torture them I say, revenge is sweet.

It was good to rip them off by a point, even though we played like horse shit overall. Hodgey for brownlow!

I had to endure sitting amongst about 8 hawks supporters at the game yesterday mate. "Fuck Off" was a rather nice comment compared to what i had to say yesterday ;)

Yeah it's not much fun when you get caught in a situation like that.
Takes the joy out of watching the game.
At least it was close.

Is Hodgey the little pocket rocket in the goal area thingy? The one they interviewed afterwards? Cos he is a little champ!

Haven't watched footy for years so have lost touch with my team, but Quick has got me watching again, and i was impressed with that little guy. Also Dixon is a champ and Crawford as always :smt023

CARN THE HAWKS!!!! WOOT!!!

Nope, Thats Williams, he is a weapon and one of the better full fowards in the league, can take a good grab!
He is only a little tacker as well, but such a force for the team.
Was leading the goal kicking all of last year until he was injured.

Hodgey is an on baller, very similar to crawf imo.

Who was the dickhead who hand-balled to Essendon and then Essendon got a goal? He better get glasses or something, that was shocking!

hehe... fair enough to barrack for your teams... i personally dont support or follow any football, but my coach, Don Scott, who is the ex-captain of Hawthorn has told me stuff about the current coach which is unbelievable... good on them for improving... though i dont know how far anyone can go with that guy leading them...

The rubber plant was surprised. If the rubber plant could have spoken, it wouldn't have said anything. That's how surprised the rubber plant was.

hehe... well i cant tell too much *giggles*

meh, it was just this: some of the true hawthorners including don scott tried to take back the team a while ago.. at that time doug scott was playing for them. The current coach won and he held a grudge against don /and/ doug since then... he started taking this out on doug and he banned anyone from letting him go to the sick bay when he had a serious leg injury and therefore ruined Dougs career because now the injury cant be fixed...
seriously... Don got the hawks winning... u'd think he had /some/ idea about footy... more than this guy at least, and disenabling your players doesnt really seem like a ticket to the top

then again... i dont know that much about footy

im sorry.....but that makes no sense at all. Alastair Clarkson only took over the coaching role at Hawthorn last year. Perhaps you are thinking of the board, not the coach, of which Don Scott was a vocal contributer and pretty much saved the club from bankrupcy and a merger with Melbourne about 5 odd years ago.
