Hate to be the bearer of possible bad tidings but I'd get that bite checked if I were you. One of my client's husband was bitten on the leg by what he thought was a harmless spider last September. He's only just going back to work now. Hospitalisation, skin grafts, sick as a dog for 6 months, home nursing (no wait, that's an appealing side effect ain't it  )........

Oh, and thanks for the tip ValueTime...cheers n stuff :)

that's happened to me a few times over the past 10 years. train leaves Flinders Street as a Upper Ferntree Gully, then changes to a Glen Waverley after Burnley.

strange that it still happens. :?

"fixing" from Mary Janes Garden....
;)

My Gripe:
Security guy saying (politely) "no photo's to be taken inside...might wanna put your camera in the car etc etc etc" while posing for shot outside the Palais for Dave Matthews.....
Getting inside and seeing dozens of flashes go off, and no intervention (as was supposed to "at the bands request")

WAH

hey stove.

DMB were very very very good. Packed house of loyal DMB fans. Was great to see.

Only gripe was the camera thing, which really, doesn't matter.

Sound system was tuned to absolute perfection and Dave's impersonation of the Aussie voice saying "G'Day Mate" and "Good on ya digger" had me (and the rest of the crowd in stitches.

Really really let his voice out and gave me goosebumps (dramatisized the otherwise soft song Bartender which was really really good.)

Boyd was going nuts on the electric violin (rocking a crowd with a violin!!!)

Dave's use of his voice doing scat was awesome....

All killer, no filler and not just their "obviouse" tracks either...

About 2 hours and 20 minutes (felt like 15)
and truly truly TRULY craved more at the end.

Oh, and they didn't play Crash into me :( :( :( WAH!!!
and didn't give carter enough drum solo's , but he still got a chance to go nuts....again...a case of wanting more......

On that note, since you didn't get to go, prehaps you want
DMB LIVE AT GEORGE which was a 3 day festival which spans 6 CDs
I purchased it legally off their website. (in .flac not MP3 format.....why did I feel the need to put that in, fuck I'm a geek.)
You want?
(PM me a mailing adress as my firewall fucks up other soulseek users.)

if not I suggest you purchase the "Live in Central Park" DVD which is again spectacular, and focuses on some of their "Jazz/Funk" band stuff, like their blending "So Much to say" with "Too Much" through some phat bass and scat.

That's not too bad Mellogs...I've posted something like 18 auctions and only sold 9 items. The highest 'watched' rating I got was 2. You just gotta keep plugging away

Gripe of The Day Essay, by The Mixtress DJ:

GOTD: Toshiba's running a competition with my company to see who can sell the most notebooks before noon today (Wed). Winner gets a notebook computer. I'd LOVE a notebook computer :smt049 . I'm coming in tied first with two other guys who are (and don't say I'm being defeatest, just realistic) likely to pip me at the post. They work in the small business market and I'm in government. Very few on the spot decisions made in a government departments these days :? .

That's not even the worst part. My biggest gov account usually buy heaps of Toshi's. At the moment though, they're testing the new range and aren't allowed to buy any until the tests are complete and a new contract is signed. I have 19 notebook orders just WAITING for that one bit of paper. I should be a clear winner but nooohooohhhoooo. That ain't gonna happen, little Miss StoopiePoopie :smt098 ...

Yeah well, :smt098 back at ya dammit *stomps feet and lights match* That's IT! I've just motivated myself.

(So if anyone feels like they need a new notebook computer in the next, say, 12 hours, let me know. That'd be just great, thanks. :smt112 )

Mixtress, this reminds me of a Seinfeld episode, where George is selling computers for his father "SERENITY NOW!!!" He 'sold' them without really selling them. Pretend you sold them, then have them returned later! Easy.

I hadn't had a customer for at least an hour. The crappy radio station finally plays a half way decent song (freestylers) and in walks a customer. He had to be a pain in the arse too didn't he? "Oh the other girl only charges me such and such cause i work night shift". I don't give a damn if you work night shift, noone gives me a discount for working nights.

Dammit I'm in a crappy mood, but it's turning into apathy. Just can't care anymore.
