so they do actually play "backed up" games?
I swear hugh said they were only "backed up" GC games.

I connected to the wiinternets last night and that was pretty cool. It all seems to be incredibly slow. Painfully so. Also it doesn't seem to have the flash plugin installed and I can't install it from the Adobe installer page. Any suggestions?

that would be totally sweet. or nintendo should just sell them pre-chipped so you don't void your warranty ;)

I would have expected flash to come installed as well.
How do I tell if it's the full version?

tbh I spent about 5 mins over breakfast trying to get it to work so maybe some proper fiddlin will reveal all... if only it was a mac

i think you can only get the full version now anyway. it just says internet channel not internet trial.

Some things will not work. like linerider boo. (although that is apparantly getting made into a wii game wtf)

its a proper pain in the arse to use anyway. i just stick to the news and weather mostly!

and everybody votes!

the news and weather interfaces are awesome. especially the representations of where all the news is coming from. this also is really slow loading up. anyone got any brilliant ideas?

EDIT: it says internets channel btw

no idea man. mine only occasionally runs slowish. but that could be anything like torrents or just bad wifi signal or anything.

no stress. I'll have a fiddle. as much as anything i just wanted to know that mine was slow and that there is potential for it to be fast and not that the whole system was fundamentally flawed to the point of being useless

Saw Wii for the first time last night. Looks interesting, but I was too wasted to actually play. My sister reckons it's the only exercise she gets :teef:

Threw on Tiger Woods PGA 08 last night. Fuck its not as easy as i thought, loads to learn. Takes a bit of getting used to the swing (bit different to golf in wii sports) but thats cause once u get it its so real...

Gonna be mad fun with 4 players. 4 stars.

Pretty sure you can cheat by using your foot as a stopper to get yourswing just perfect. Is it the same as Noah's?

My sister's household takes their Wii very seriously, they've even got a little trophy and name plates so they can have a weekly household winner.

After my fourth go ever at Wii I managed a bowling score of 201. I's getting a name plate :D

I'm pretty sure you can use the practice mode to line up your foot or something. I was at Noah's and I did it, can't recall the details now cause liek I said I was at Noahs'. Not much use when I'm sober am I?
