No fancy lenses, the cubs were about a metre away... :tricks of the trade:

The big ones were about two metres away (albeit on the other side of an 8m electrified fence). The photo ops you get when volunteering at a lion park

I have waaaay too many photos from when I was there, including some with these cubs climbing all over me. Unfortunately, they are all on film and I have never gotten around to scanning most of them.

I'd be lying if i said they hadn't been touched up a little.

Should of seen the waterfalls on Ayers rock after it rained, lasted about 15 minutes, looked awesome.

My mate Cliff on a new bmx he bought a few days ago.
(Shot in sports mode with a Canon EOS20D and a Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 wide angle lens.)
Check the gravel flying on the foot and the supreme distortion on his upper body... It looks like he's been hitting the roids

Warehouse in Windsor, same equipment.
(It sort of looks like the Titanic...
