Jaime Olsen (REPHRASE from Sydney) is hitting Melbourne on Saturday 24th November and he is bringing his 100% LIVE show!!
Rephrase is on the road in 2007 to celebrate release of his latest and greatest album â€œLittle Victoriesâ€ plus upcoming remix compilation. After hearing the cry of excited Melbourne breakers; heâ€™s decided to pack up his sax and sequencers and synths to bring us his 100% live show.
Heâ€™ll be up on the big stage at Roxanne Parlour for one night only on Saturday 24th November.
Expect a nite of hip hop, breaks, funk, house, good people, fun times & crazy dancing!!

Better than Flow Dynamics, & Katatalyst (IMO)
& Right before the Perth mission..

Lindemon >> this is a DJ set but incorporates some "semi live" elements, comes with laptop n fx n all that... def gonna do the other live show next time... he has a few tricks in that department, working with a sax player and/or other ppl too
you really got it with those local reviews too.. i was not so keen on Katalyst's direction after seeing the live show @Toff recently.
flow dynamics was really dope as a DJ, but Rephrase is def. more Melbourne flava

for me it's perfect mix of funk breaks and harder, party sounds >> more than perfect

"puttin the fun back into funky..." mite be the party's catch phrase

thank fuck for home grown quality!!

And I go to put away my records yesterday and come across a surfboard in my bag.

What a wicked show! Jaimie busting out the Saxaphone was the greatest. And man o man, Roxanne doesnt mind with its system, Awesome sound!

I had such a great time, although I did get a little bit too attached to a swim toy.
