Oh my fucking god! Really there's no words to describe how awesome last nite was. I had high expectations and they totally exceeded all of those. Amazing. The effort and attention to detail in the whole stage setup and visuals was brilliant. This is the shit i'm gonna tell my kids about one day like my mum seeing zeppelin and the beatles. But my lucky kids will have youtube to see it all.
Cut Copy, Sebastian and Kavinsky were awesome except for the terrible sound for the support acts. They were all quality acts but unfortunately they copped the ass end of the sound setup. Anyway. Not much else to say.
Anyone go to the afterparty?

loved seBastian & kavinsky beforehand aswell, got me in the mood completely.
i care not for cut copy after they scoffed at my peter saville tee on friday lunch.
got dust??? i was near the front for about half, then heat + dust got me and i moved up the back to take in the spectacular visuals but sound was lacking so moved back in halfway and enjoyed the TOGETHER finale (tron tron tron).
dope bizness

On Thursday they were terrible, radio mixes, speeding the pitch up and down quite noticeably, horrible mixing in general, but then again they are known as producers not DJs. Im pretty sure the sound had limitors/compressors on it that why it sounded crap, you could hear them kick in.andy_hoffman wrote:Sebastian and Kavinsky were awesome except for the terrible sound for the support acts. Are you sure? I did a search before and found this
Even with the biggest, flattest, sharpest HD set-up, there's no way to sufficiently recreate the most exuberant LED-laden music blowout ever staged. So Daft Punk didn't even try: There will be no Alive 2007 DVD.
Commenting on the decision, Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter recently told Pitchfork, "The thousands of clips on the internet are better to us than any DVD that could have been released."
