I say it all the time, in both figurative and literal senses. Then again, I do swear like Peter Russell Clarke IRL, so that's hardly surprising.

I don't actually see this as a reclaimation thing, so couldn't give a fuck who says it. On the other hand, if a non-wog uses the term wog, I get unimpressed very quickly.

I hate the double-standard thang...

Ol' Whitey was a racist bastard back in the day, but now he/she cops the terms "cracker" (for example) etc etc without a thought from all races - and we probably don't care for the most part (I certainly don't)...

Racist words should just fuck off altogether.

This reclaiming thing ONLY works if by doing it you take away the negative power the word has over you (when used by or against you).

But this doesn't happen... black peeps call themselves "nigger" and then take offence when a non-black does... Same with people of meditteranean descent etc.

I don't get it.

IMO, the problems occur when people use terms in the old, derogitory sense, but think it's okay because it has been reclaimed by the people themselves. General use doesn't really bother me that much, but when people make old school hateful comments, then do the 'I'm so hilarious for insulting you to your face' look that makes me want to punch them.

Generally speaking, I don't use the word myself, coz I don't really see the point. Neither do I use the reverse. Everyone is just a cunt :teef:

Took my dad to the mall the other day to buy some new shoes. We
decided to grab a bite at the food court. I noticed he was watching a
