Rogue Element (UK) @ Candy Bar Friday 27th June
No, not the bloody Rogue Traders!!
Rogue Element (Fat! records) plays the Candy Bar on Greville St, Prahran - Friday 27th June.
I don't have a flyer yet but support is from Diistortion (WA), Muska vs Dave Pham, Tahl vs Boogs and myself.
The Candy Bar is actually a pretty cool venue with a nice under cover smoking area for all you nicotine fiends! Entry is only $10/ $5.
Hit me up for guest list. I'll be posting all the proper info up here shortly.
Cheers.

OH NO!
I'd much rather see Rogue Element, but I've promised to take photos at Against the Grain!
Fuck it. I'll go to both!

Anyone know set times for this?
I'd really like to catch both Rogue Element and then head to the Against the Grain party, but if this doesn't start until 1 there's not much point...
(stupid lockout!!)

Re: Rogue Element (UK) @ Candy Bar Friday 27th June
Scotrod warmed us all up, and I was really digging him at first but then he got a little bit cheesy for the ladies on the dance floor, which is understandable and the same thing I would have done, but I was kind of hoping Rogue Element wouldn't follow suit.
Unfortunately he did... for the first track. Then he started playing this wob wob bassline and it just got better and better.
His set reminded me of the way Carl Cox used to play - a blend of everything but within a certain parameter so it flowed really well. He even played a little electro-ish stuff, and I even enjoyed that.
My legs are still hurting from dancing so much!
I also got to chat to Mr Element afterwards, and he's a really nice guy.
So big ups for all responsible!

I had a ball. If this was packed as well as Against The Grain - Breakbeat's definitely not dead in this town!
