Throw your hands into the air,
We bout to take it there,
Full Cycle no fear,
Now whos the man again!

Not the greatist of lyrics, but damn lookin forward to tonight... 8)

Kinda relevant to most of us i reckon... :?

Fumble outta bed and stumble to the kitchen

Pour myself a cup of ambition and

Yawn and stretch and my life is a mess and

If I never make it home today, God bless

The one in my headphones:

Blow in her hair...
Blow on her back...
I like it ruff and I hope she's ruff back.

The lyrics stuck in my head:

Niggaz got beef? Come on let's set it off
Talent like mine is rarely seen like handicaps havin intercourse
Niggaz wanna floss in, celebrate, lyrically won't elevate, they flimsy
I'm breakin out my shell like Mork and Mindy

I'll mack her
Attack her with the smoothness
I do this
Even when my crew gets
Loot, props, respect and blunts to pass
Crews talk shit, but in my face they kiss my ass
They bite flows but we make up new ones
If you're really dope, why ain't ya signed yet?
But I get
My loot from Jive/Zomba
I'ma bomb ya
You will see
From now to infinity

Skunkhour! Know that lyric very well...such a cool tune :D
From one of my fave lyricists, Jason "Spaceman" of Spiritualized:

Out of sight is always out of mind
I think out of mind is out of sight
I was just looking for some peace of mind
I just couldn't find a peace of mine
They say that pride comes just before a fall
I have fallen and I wasn't sure
You know that I have fallen further before
I just cannot stand falling no more
If I am good I could add years to my life
I would rather add some life to my years
Life is really what you make it they say
I can't even make my mind up today
The world keeps turning it keeps me in my place
Where I stand is only three miles from space
Standing space is all the space I can stand
Gravity just keeps on keeping me down

(track : Out of Sight)

For my first three years
I was an only child
But I guess to my parents
I was looking lonely while
I laid up in the crib
Until one of them said
"Let's have another kid"
To which I replied
"Hell no, don't do it!"
But all they heard was waa waa
"Oh, what a cute kid..."
"And Alan, just look at his precious little baby frown
He can't wait to have his new sibling around"
From that point on I had nothing to lose
I'd interrupt the mood whenever my dad would try to bust a move
I'd throw the ill fuckin' tantrum
Until they send my bubbe in
And she'd be like "Oi vey, chill grandson..."
But I just keep screamin'
Until my momma runnin' worried
My mad dad steamin'
From the sexual tension
Until one week I caught a throat infection
And it left me unable to evoke a sound
My parents slept in a seperate room
But I knew what was goin' down
And sure enough nine months pass
I got a brand new baby sister
And I can already tell she's gonna be a pain in the ass

I got a sister
She's hot
And quite frankly
I'm not
For those of you who might be a little dumber
That makes me
Her ugly brother
And that's what this song is about
So if you gotta sibling hotter than you
Scream and shout
It's really not a reason to be feeling blue
Cause me and Format know what you're goin through

So the years pass
And like b-boys me and my sister mature
At high school I roll with the nerds
Puny kid
With orthodontic work and glasses
My sister's the polar opposite cuttin' classes
Smokin' grass in bathrooms with heavy metal dropouts
How can I put it?
She was a knockout
Now get off the phone with the shrink's receptionist because I'm not incestuous
I think it's safe to guess that it's not my sister's indepth political perspectives that's so fascinatin'
I'm not bitter
My sister's hotter than me
I had a crappy hand in the genetic lottery
My parents laugh and say I was the practice run
Then my mum feels bad and says
"You have inner beauty son"
What does that mean?
Hot fuckin' tonsils?
Girls are hostile cause my eyes are smaller than my nostrils
Modellin' agencies telling my sister she's sure hot
Only gigs I'm gettin' is the before shot
For electrolysis clinics
Lack of action makes me a chronic cynic
But at least I'm not alone as I wallow in my misery
Just take a look at Format as he stands next to his sister
She's a heavenly vision
Slender like a swan's neck
When it comes to Format, God's like
"No comment"
Feet to make a sasquatch think "What a freak"
Behind the tables he looks like a nose dropping beats
"Perhaps, but isn't that like the pot calling the kettle black?"
True cause when we face each other on stage it looks like a goddamn fencing match
It's no better when we stand back to back
Cause then we come across as some sort of human pickaxe
So if you're like us ugly with the hot sister
Then straight up might I be so bold as to suggest
That we can arrange a swap mister?

Long post I know, but it's all gold.
DJ Format - Ugly Brother. I pissed myself when Format and Abdominal dropped that track at Good Vibes.

Theres so many things that we miss in our everyday lives
Were so busy hustling, bustling chasing far away dreams
We forget the little things
Like blue skies, green eyes and our babies growing
Like rainbows, fresh snow and the smell of summer
We forget to live.

Give us eyes like children so we live each day as others
Were so sure we know so much that we forget to listen
Then we wander freckle faced
Like cheep thrills bad spill and constant consumption
Like tv, cds and cars that speak our names
We forget to live.

Theres so many things that we miss in our everyday lives
Were so busy hustling, bustling chasing far away dreams
We forget the little things
Like blue skies, green eyes and our babies growing
Like rainbows, fresh snow and the smell of summer
We forget to live.

You'll not find a style like this,
when i was a youth i listened t'Miles Davies,
Lost In Space and Neil Armstrong,
I used to hum melodies from Louis Armstrong,
Last night i fell asleep in my home,
had a little dream about Nina Simone,
I laid down and before i came round,
She told me "Get Up" I aint Mr James Brown,

really creative lyrics in that one Darrison is a clever cat !

Feeling brand new and I jumped up
Feeling my highs, and my lows
In my soul, and my goals
Just to stop smokin, and stop drinkin
And I've been thinkin - I've got my reasons
Just to get (by), just to get (by)
Just to get (by), just to get (by)

Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows,
Everything that's wonderful,
That's what I see when
We're together!

or, if you prefer....

I've got that joy joy joy joy
Down in my heart (where?)
Down in my heart to stay!

And I spend the rest of the day

Can you name the truck with four wheel drive,
smells like a steak and seats thirty-five..

Canyonero! Canyonero!

Well, it goes real slow with the hammer down,
It's the country-fried truck endorsed by a clown!

Canyonero! (Yah!) Canyonero!
[Krusty:] Hey Hey

The Federal Highway comission has ruled the
Canyonero unsafe for highway or city driving.

Canyonero!

12 yards long, 2 lanes wide,
65 tons of American Pride!

Canyonero! Canyonero!

Top of the line in utility sports,
Unexplained fires are a matter for the courts!

Canyonero! Canyonero! (Yah!)

She blinds everybody with her super high beams,
She's a squirrel crushing, deer smacking, driving machine!

Canyonero!-oh woah, Canyonero! (Yah!)

Drive Canyonero!

Woah Canyonero!

Woah!
I kissed a squirrel and I liked it... taste of her acorn chapstick

lol @ Canyonero. haha

I might be movin' to Montana soon
Just to raise me up a crop of
Dental Floss

Raisin' it up
Waxen it down
In a little white box
I can sell uptown

By myself I wouldn't
Have no boss,
But I'd be raisin' my lonely
Dental Floss

Raisin' my lonely
Dental Floss

Well I just might grow me some bees
But I'd leave the sweet stuff
For somebody else...but then, on the other hand I'd

Keep the wax
N' melt it down
Pluck some Floss
N' swish it aroun'

I'd have me a crop
An' it'd be on top (that's why I'M movin' to Montana)

Movin' to Montana soon
Gonna be a Dental Floss tycoon (yes I am)
Movin' to Montana soon
Gonna be a mennil-toss flykune

I'm pluckin' the ol'
Dennil Floss
That's growin' on the prairie
Pluckin' the floss!
I plucked all day an' all nite an' all
Afternoon...

I'm ridin' a small tiny hoss
(His name is MIGHTY LITTLE)
He's a good hoss
Even though
He's a bit dinky to strap a big saddle or
Blanket on anyway
He's a bit dinky to strap a big saddle or
Blanket on anyway
Any way

I'm pluckin' the ol'
Dennil Floss
Even if you think it is a little silly, folks
I don't care if you think it's silly, folks
I don't care if you think it's silly, folks

I'm gonna find me a horse
Just about this big
An' ride him all along the border line

With a
Pair of heavy-duty
Zircon-encrusted tweezers in my hand
Every other wrangler would say
I was mighty grand

By myself I wouldn't
Have no boss
But I'd be raisin' my lonely
Dental Floss

Raisin' my lonely
Dental Floss
Raisin' my lonely
Dental Floss

Well I might
Ride along the border
With my tweezers gleamin'
In the moon-lighty night

And then I'd
Get a cuppa cawfee
N' give my foot a push...
Just me 'n the pymgy pony
Over the Dennil Floss Bush

N' then I might just
Jumb back on
An' ride
Like a cowboy
Into the dawn to Montana

Movin' to Montana soon
(Yippy-Ty-O-Ty-Ay)
Movin' to Montana soon

n1: Give it.
n2: You Smokey, man?
n1: Give it!
n2: If you ain't Smokey, it ain't yo' motherfuckin' message
n1: Motherfucker, I said gimme the message!
n2: It's from Willie, in the slam.
n1: Nigga, you been busted?
n2: Yeah, the man picked me up.
n1: Well, I ain't got no fuckin' time to play witchu! Now gimme the message.
n2: Willie's in Warwick, doin' 1-3. Told me to tell y'all motherfuckers to
keep cool. He be out one way or another. Quick. Maybe I could stick
around for awhile.
n1: Naw, that's out, man. You know? What can we, The Lords, do with a punk like you?
n2: Kiss my ass, motherfucker!
ghostface: Burn 'em!
n2: Just me and you, motherfucker, just me and you. I'll put trademarks around your fuckin' eyes!

Yeah I watched that too - I was switching between that and Amazing Race. Don't agree that the line is bad taste though......

i guess my kneejerk reaction was "ohh kanye is making a joke of something mad serious"

thinking about it more, it made me pay a lot more attention to what happened, so in terms of raising awareness of where Black people in the US have come from its a good thing.

it can be strongly argued that not only did he steal 'their' music and dance moves, but he never acknowledged the fact. not to mention his habit of repeatedly uttering racial slurs and epithets in interviews.

yer as that article says his famous quote was "The only thing black people can do for me is shine my shoes and buy my music".....

hence a million lines.......including Chino XL's "shine my shoes and buy my cd's - treating niggas like Elvis"

The reason why our lives they are so rough
Because the system is unjust
And the reason why the system is unjust
Because it’s not made for us (repeat)

Many they flight for equal rights, no end in sight
Some hold the power so tight, and live alife that’s nice
Who pays the price ?

You’ve got to fight, with all your might for what is right
It is your life, you have a choice you’ve got a voice

No justice no peace if equal rights and justice is what you seek
No justice no peace the power to the people they must be released
