two gripes today.

1) this http://au.news.yahoo.com/a/-/newshome/5576453 needs more sex park imo.

2) office conversation - people talking across me when i'm on the phone bitching about other staff, constant farking footy talk and other related booooooring bullshit. urgh. sometimes i think i'd rather be back at melbourne uni, working by myself. :tard:

GOTD: People farting on planes like they're at home in their pyjama's. I had an extra shower tonight when I got home from Sydders just to wash the stink off me, but I think it's in my nostrils and it won't come out :(

On the positive side, I had my first taste of what it's like to be alone and drunk on a plane. It's fun :smt003

Women in my office acting like over the top mother hens, a lass in my office has broken up with her long term boyfriend.

Which i understand is devestating but for THREE days this is all I have heard about cluck cluck cluck. And then when someone who has not heard the story comes to our part of the office the story starts again.

So sick of hearing crappy advice and people sticking their two cents in. Good on them for caring but there is a limit and I though it was a was a place of work not a shitty episode of Dr Phil.

L'Oreal, my hair is not lacking, as it has never contained, natural cement.

Kleenex, your tissues do not feel like "daddy's heart".

I feel like throwing up every time I see these ad's on telly. Who the flying fuck do they think they're fooling anyway? Do people really fall for this, are they really all that gullible? I can't believe people sit around a meeting table, brainstorming these pathetic storyboards, high fiving each other and thinking they pulled another one over our eyes. AND they get paid inordinate amounts of money to do this job. Blah.

Mixy - so much goes into the strategy behind these campaigns. I'd be fairly safe in saying that potentially even you may have been affected/influenced/motivated/inspired in your life time by campaigns such as these or similar.

disagree...because these or similar are pathetic and I have a brain. Even if I like the product, I'm usually very disappointed with the way they try selling to the public. Daddy's heart indeed, I mean puhlease!

I dunno, used tissues are wet and slimy. Hazard a guess that daddy's heart would feel quite similar if you took the surgical gloves off and had a bit of a feel around or had that superpower that the dude in one of the indiana jones movies had where you could just reach into the thoracic cavity and be all "snap, got yr heart lolz".

I used to be a phone monkey for a market research company, we used to do a survey for a tobacco company. One of the questions was 'which brand of cigarettes do you think would be smoked by a successful professional?'

Another: 'Which brand makes you feel physically attractive?'

No shit. People would answer them seriously too, some would laugh but not nearly enough.
