Big Ups to spending post-NY doing some volunteer ecological research with my old supervisor.

:)

Bird banding, invertebrate counts, diving and assessing seagrass bed health in a National Park for several weeks. Just what the doctor ordered... the state of the planet and the bullshit greenwash associated with it have been getting me down recently.

Also, Big Ups that the same supervisor was awarded the Order of Australia for his research on Australian ecosystems. Nice to see 4 decades of passion for the environment acknowledged.
