Hey guys and gals,

Planning on doing a picnic for my girl on Valentines day and need some ideas for what to make? So far I am thinking:

- Some nice bread, dips, sun dried tomatoes, cheeses
- Main, not sure??
- Strawberries dipped in chocolate
- Fruit salad & homemade chocolate mousse (her faves)
- Champagne

Any ideas what to do for the main? I am stumped for ideas.

Cheers!

I would like to endorse this banana pancake recipe. I'm not actually vegan, but 'sif I can be fucked buying eggs. In fact, this attitude has meant that a fair proportion of the things I cook have been appropriated by vegan housemate. Carnivore fail

First time to Cavallero last night and we were suitably impressed. I had the fish, mrs roar the pork belly, and both were awesome, as was the lemon tart. Damn impressive wine list, too.

not sure if i posted this yet .. ?

Went to Coda a few weeks ago.

No SHIT. One of my finest dining experiences EVER.

Amazing food. great wine. great service.

the free bits/bums in the window every 5 mins was the only one thing that I could have done without [from all the drunk idiots going to Icon bar. haha], although funny..

Taking a good friend and his missus out for his bday. They live in Norfcote (who doesn't these days?!). Anyways, need place to take them. Was thinking of the shoe store for brewskis with pizza delivered and served with icy-cold coopers green (truffle-oil potato pizza HOMER DROOL), but this is my fall-back standard... there must be a few other gems on High St!

Halp!
I wanted to be a hero. I wanted to be the center of attention. I wanted the glory, I wanted the fame. I wanted the pretty girls to come up and say, "Hi, I see that you're good at Centipede."

Fair enough dude, salmonella would probably make you a bit sus of food in general for a bit.

TBH took me a while to get used to the idea of uncooked chicken, I still won't really go chicken sashimi, only on rare occasions (pun intended).

For some weird reason I can't eat raw beef but horse is OK :tard: *1000

Sashimi is the best!

Fresh from the Fish Markets @ pyrmont - no better food.

I had a Snapper sashimi the other day at Teppinyaki - amazing.

there was a place in Brisbane that had fucking seafood highlighter as part of their sashimi combo. Lol, wastemenz.

Best is having sashimi squid 10 seconds after you pull the sucker of the jig. Wasabi saches in tacklebox ftw.
