aha! that looks pretty awesome still mecka. nice one
although i think all their tunes sound the same i respect their longevity and their utterly hilarious attitude 'we've been touring with the same songs for 20 years and people still come to gigs' haha
and yes, you do need an LX3. cracking little camera. how to get it in though? they patted me down on the way into rage. i had to take it back to the car. booooo!
BU friday. week has been totally arse

BU mebbe having found a new housemate. Mind you, bit iffy on the whole 'spent 6 years in the Navy' business. Seems nice enough...
BU celebratory (and somewhat pre-emptive) spending of saved rent on a completely frivolous trip to NYC! "Oh, there's a party, let me just get my coat and fly up"

Spent yesterday pruning blackberry bushes on a small slice of heaven overlooking Mornington Penninsula. Arms more cut than an emo dumped via facebook, but organic apple and blackberry stew with a dash of vanilla bean paste, some fudgy-brown sugar and several scoops of macadamia honey icecream to offset the tart apple made my weekend
Small down; have to meet client in 15 minutes with more random scratches on my hands and arms than the cat woman from the Simpsons.

Oh congratulations!!
So big ups walking over to the photocopier that was randomly printing blank pages and just turning it off. Yes 20 people, I cancelled your print jobs as a result and blocked the copier for the last 10 minutes. But it stopped wasting paper and I couldnt give that you got to press a few buttons again. Sucked in.

Big the fuck up to everything coming up Millhouse.
I've got a project in Paris that will be on-going while I am in Canada. Cutting-edge phytoremediation (using plants to clean shit up) and I am the Supreme Technical Overlord and I even get my own translator (who I met today) cos my French is shite. I want to dress him up in the costume that John Cleese's character wears in 'The Holy Grail' for all my client meetings. He can pat his head with his leather mittens and blow raspberries at random staff. It'll be grand.
Does anyone know where I can get a giant wooden bunny?

Bigups seeing Salt n Pepa, and Naughty by Nature....on the same stage singing Push It!!! Oh man whatta moment!!!
Salt n Pepa were absolutely mental and fricken awesome. I am now one happy happy lady to have seen them live after falling in love with them when i was 13 or something.
Naughty by Nature also killed it!
def won't be doing Good Vibes again i reckon, too old and too over it. i prefer Big Day out for the crowd and set up. Good Vibes is full of mashed up muzzas. Funny people watching, but in general, pretty annoying to be around.
Bigups my boy and Oli-san being there with me
Oli-san is partner in crime for concerts and festivals fo shizzle

what is this FOMO you speak of?
Nice one on Help Haiti GK I am sooo sorry i didn't attend. I was planning on it, til i wrote myself off on Friday night which destroyed any hope of me moving on Saturday, and then Good Vibes on Sunday also contributed to not moving. still had the shakes on Sunday morning, i really did a good job at writing myself off
all went well?

Re: The Big Up Thread
FOMO is a term i coined a few years ago....
Fear Of Missing Out.
It happens when you have decided not to go somewhere, do something and you wake up at 2 am going
'oh fuck that party of my life is happening, tonight! and im not there!" etc
all went well babe, missed a few faces including yours but was happy with the turnout and music, which was amazing.
