FWIW, I had a 4 hour session with Alex, and I thought that he offered very clear instructions, was able to answer all my stupid questions, and gave me the motivation/ability to actually start on a tune! Finishing it is another story, but that's my issue...
I think 40 p/h is pretty good value tbh.
