On booty duty - the return of the jungle breakbeat sound
This week in my blog on booty duty I am checking out new jungle breakbeat badness from Aquasky, Rack 'N Ruin and Pyramid.

Amens have been unfashionable in Breaks (in fact in dance music as a whole) in favour of electro and techno rhythms and influences for about 10 years.enigneyratorelknaw wrote:Who says it ever went away
I'm not talking about Drum n Bass, thats a completely different story.

Depends on the perspective of the listener dun it, i suppose for those that follow crowds and love that over produced sound it would appear the drums died...
Not saying you do cause i don't know you
But alot of artists have been cleaver enough to combine some element and often extensive drum work based around the amen with more modern electro and glitchy sounds into their work and sound very fresh
But i will check these out anyway
