ANDY C - THE 1 THE ONLY........EXECUTIONER!!
LAST YEAR SAW ANDY C REIGN SUPREME ONCE MORE AS HE WAS CROWNED NO.1 DJ BY DRUM & BASS ARENA FOR THE 6TH SUCCESSIVE YEAR, A RECORD FOR THE DRUM N BASS INDUSTRY.
ANDY C IS A BUSY MAN , AND ONE OF DANCE MUSICS BEST AMBASSADORS.
HE MANAGES TO RUN HIS PROLIFIC LABEL – RAM RECORDS, WHILST ALSO PRODUCING NEW MUSIC AND TRAVELLING ALLOVER THE GLOBE TO PLAY FOR ALL THE BIGGEST CLUBS AND FESTIVALS, THERE'S NO QUESTION ABOUT IT, ANDY C IS AT THE PINNACLE OF DRUM N BASS.
ANDY'S LABEL, RAM RECORDS, IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SOME OF THE BIGGEST RELEASES THAT HAVE SHAPED THE DNB/JUNGLE SOUND TO WHERE IT'S AT TODAY, FROM "VALLEY OF THE SHADOWS" WRITTEN BY ANDY HIMSELF, TO THE GROUNDBREAKING DEBUT ALBUM "SPEED OF SOUND" , RAM RECORDS HAS TRULY STOOD THE TEST OF TIME AND EVOLVED WITH THE EVER CHANGING SOUND OF DRUM N BASS TO BE RELEASING THE MOST CUTTING EDGE MUSIC AS WE SPEAK.
THE NIGHTLIFE CD SERIES IS A SHOWCASE OF ANDY'S DJ SKILLS ALONGSIDE HIS MASTER OF CEREMONIES – MC GQ, AN AWESOME MIX FEATURING THE FULL SPECTRUM OF DRUM N BASS FROM DANCEFLOOR SMASHERS, DEEP ROLLERS RIGHT THROUGH TO DNB FUNK AT IT'S BEST.

" GET READY FOR A HIGH PACED, ENERGY FUELLED JOURNEY FROM THE ONE THEY CALL THE EXECUTIONER ALONGSIDE MC GQ , ANDY C MAY BE A MACHINE FROM ANOTHER PLANET PURPOSE BUILT TO DESTROY WITH HIS WEAPON OF CHOICE BEING A MIXER AND SET OF TURNTABLES, THIS MAN IS THE NEXT LEVEL!!"

MC GQ
MC GQ – RE.. RE.. READY TO ROLL ......!?

THE CHARISMA , PRESENCE AND DISTINCTIVE SOUND OF MC GQ IS ONE SUCH CHARACTERISTIC THAT MC-ING AT THE TOP OF THE CHAIN FOR MORE THAN 15 YEARS HAS TAKEN GQ TO ALL THE CORNERS OF THE GLOBE , SEEN HIM ACHIEVE CHART SUCCESS , AND EVEN GIVEN HIM THE OPPORTUNITY TO ESTABLISH HIS VERY OWN LABEL "EMCEE RECORDINGS"

GQ HAS ALWAYS BEEN A DJ'S MC, SEEING HIS ROLE AS A MIDDLE MAN BETWEEN THE DJ AND THE CROWD RATHER THAN CONSTANTLY DEMANDING CENTRE STAGE. HE IS THE VERSATILE MC, WHETHER HE NEEDS TO TEAR DOWN THE RAVE, SWITCH IT UP TO DOUBLE TIME OR ROLL OUT THE RHYTHMS, ONE THING'S FOR SURE THE CROWD IS ALWAYS VIBING FOR MORE. GQ SAYS "IT'S ALL ABOUT READING THE CROWD AND ADAPTING MY STYLE TO SUIT"

Gotta say this...

Same time last year this was the WORST WORST WORST gig I went to.

The sound was AWFUL - I couldn't hear properly for two days. Plus there was no decor.

I'll be at rainbow serpent.

Sorry dudes but last year was so bad. The massive deserves the promise of a VAST improvement from last year's NON-effort.

Hate to bitch but I value my ears and dollars and last year was a JOKE.

^^ Mate it's BBA running it this time round - GUARANTEED to be quality.

Nothing to do with the DJ - everything to do with the promoters.

So, Australia Day celebrations hey? Nice.

Marvs has her Australian Citizenship ceremony on the same day, could prove messy!

Andy C normally destroys the air con at HiFi - both times Ive seen him play at HiFi (esp the first one) people were going so crazy heating the place up they busted it good ;-)

I think this will go down as possibly the best gig of all time with BBA on duty.

Last year was a fucking amazing set but a fucked party, the year before was over priced and at Brown Alley, the time before that was another amazing set but too hot and crammed inside.

This time round i know it is going to be done right!

I cant fucking wait, BIG UPS BBA!!!!!

^^^^ Original (and I believe first) Andy C @ Tekstep at Hifi was off the fuckin hook - Best set I've ever seen to date.

33anda1/3rd was half decent but way too packed and too hot up front.

Brown Alley was good but always a strange layout downstairs to see what he is up to with those pillars in the way.

Last HiFi set nearly ruined half the dnb scenes eardrums and the tunes all sounded the same.

BBA should rock the hell out of HiFi this time round.

Shit i forgot about the 33 1/3 party NYD. Yeah that one was way too fucking crammed and hot, least it wasn't dripping from the roof like the original one.

This will be the 5th time i've seen him. Mad
