If its not word percific, maybe u can just put the text in the body?
If its like formatting n shit, maybe open the *.doc in notepad, hax0r whats there?
maybe word will read the weird shit and translate it coz its owned by MS?
maybe try saving a email in outlook and opening that in notepad and see if is similarities?
im gonna google for eet11!

Hi...
a friend put this post on another forum, thought someone here might have some ideas to help... any pointers appreciated
I've always maintained my gig email list manually, just sending out emails via Thunderbird as BCC, but I'm having more and more problems with webservers thinking I'm a spammer.
Does anyone here have experience using email list clients? I checked out phpList which looked pretty good, but they lost me when it came to database creation and configuration - no idea where to even start with that stuff.
thanks in advance...

mailman will be provided by most web hosts - that's what i'd recommend using.FoundationStepper wrote:Hi...

I called it a 'bollocks knocker' a few minutes ago and gave my screen a really harsh 'rainbow press' for good measure.
Action/adventure starring Harrison Ford knockoff if anything.
Bollocks Knocker is total Brit. See what you have become.

in dreamweaver you can chose secure ftp when you setup your site i think. i know i had problems with uploading once or twice with just normal FTP. bit weird!
you can use sftp with pretty much any ftp client i think!
i use http://www.coreftp.com/
or i can upload for you yes! huhu.

That's a classic case of PEBKAC.nic wrote:I cant manage to upload a 90mb file to my webspace, i keeps skipping it.
Iv tried 5 times and also as a .rar just for something to do - using dreamweaver, the rest of the files/site go up fine except this one mp3. It has worked fine in the past as well.
Please support my IT?
It's the webserver telling you your content is crap. It doesn't want to hurt your feelings so it won't come out and say it. Webservers are sensitive souls.nic wrote:AKA USER ERROR?
Im afraid it is. Im still stuck btw.
I'd recommend you and take a long hard look at what you are uploading. Is it a pretentious grab at self promotion? Is it up to your usual standard? Is your usual standard good enough?
