in the early 90's nicky black market was good mates with my step dad, who was always in london on business and would pick me up a bag of tunes on the way though town, by the time i moved there in 94 it was weird to see my step dad and nicky chattin... step dads are weird to start with. nice way to break the ice, a bag of jungle...

my best mates dad was a record collector in sydney where i grew up, and his sister who was hot started getting acid house through him in 89, we followed her lead and hunted the breaks from then on... sold a few over the years but still drag around 30 crates or so.


im keen to have a roll soon, maybe a lazy one at edinbourgh gardens once the weather turns around...
