Once a month it happens.... The stars align and the five elements combine to bring you Melbourne's longest running breaks party - Beats Working.
Since 2001, this tight-knit crew has been responsible for many a dancefloor shenanigan - rocking punters from the raves of Earthcore and Kryal to their current home at Brown Alley.
This month sees resident badboys; Feigan, Enforcers (Scotrod + Direkt), Hans-D.C and Obliveus take to the stage to display their eclectic take on the breakbeat sound. Be there to bear witness to an original melting pot of hip-hop, funk, electro, house, techno, drum'n'bass and all things breakbeat infused with an old-school party-vibe that you won't find anywhere else.
Wether you're a long-time BW addictee, or a first time Bee Dub virgin - be sure you keep this weekend free, tell your friends and maybe even take the Monday off work!

Man, I had a try with that thing at Rahel's BBQ and I failed miserably. I think you need to have small hands to work it out. Kinda like Malaysians and women.

THIS JUST IN!!!

This will be the FINAL BEATS WORKING @ BROWN ALLEY! New venue and details will come through the pipeline over the next couple of weeks.

I'd just like to be clear in saying that Brown Alley has been one of the coolest venues we've ever held a party, staff are great, owners and management are great, yadda yadda yadda. We really came into our own at the venue, but to keep the party fresh, this change had to happen.

It's just time for us to move on.

So October 22nd will be the last time Beats Working will be held at Brown Alley. Let's make it a big one. ALL BW family will be in attendence behind the decks, behind the mic and on the dancefloor.
