I have Wired World of Sports as mp3, easy enough to convert

Runs a joy with silken twine.

i got that wired world of sports on vinyl as well... coz i got better things to do i'll tell you a story bout it coming to be in my possession.... a friend of mine used to direct/produce video clips for some company under the mushroom umbrella... anyway this 4-piece newcastle band called On Inc (MC/flute player, drummer, bassist, DJ) were to shoot a video & one of their members (the DJ) was unable to make the shoot, so i was called in to basically stand there & bop away. So I had to stand behind these decks for 6 hours on end while they did all the cutaways of the singer etc, so i'm digging thru the crate of records & come across the 12th man... so i chuck it on and am listeming to it right thru all of the takes... a couple of times they had to call cut coz i was laughing in the background whilst i was meant to be all staunch & serious... anyway i got to keep the record & to this day it remains my highest paying gig & the only record i played was the wired world of sports.

PS the band split up not long after

Hahaha that's such a cool idea - gives it that aussie flavour huh? Might have to go check out the non-dance second-hand record stores now.

The only copy of any of Wired World of Sports I have is the "Bill Lawry: This Is Your Life".

Yeah, there should still be a few around.

I got them from this 2nd hand store in Frankston. Also picked up some Monty Python and Faulty Towers on wax while I was there.

Oh, and Comedy Company too. Hehe.

Hahah, Faulty Towers could be good ... was it just the theme or did it have bits of dialogue? I'd kill for some of the stuff Manuel said ...

It was just audio from the show. I think I have around 8 full episodes? Not sure if it had the theme or not.

Mr Fawlty Good morning Madam, can I help you ?
Mrs Richards Are you the manager ?
Mr Fawlty I am the owner Madam.
Mrs Richards What ?
Mr Fawlty I am the owner !
Mrs Richards I want to speak to the manager.
Mr Fawlty I am the manager too.
Mrs Richards What ?
Mr Fawlty I am the manager AS-WELL .
Manuel Manajer - he manajer !
Mr Fawlty (aside, to Manuel) Shut up !
Mrs Richards You're what ?
Mr Fawlty I'm the manager.
Mrs Richards What ?
Mr Fawlty I'M THE MANAGER !
Mrs Richards Yes, I know, you've just told me - I booked a room with a bath. When I book a room with a bath, I expect to get a bath.
Mr Fawlty You've got a bath.
Mrs Richards I'm not paying £7.20 per night, plus V.A.T. for a room without a bath.
Mr Fawlty (opening bathroom door) There is your bath.
Mrs Richards You call that a bath - it's not big enough to drown a mouse - it's disgraceful !
Mr Fawlty (in a whisper) I wish you were a mouse, I'd show you.

Love that scene. The Mrs Richards episode will always be my favourite.

Yes - I believe I put that sequence at the end of my Space Elevator Muzak mix...

Which incidentally I'll put back online if there's any MB.com heads that like their, Good Looking/Partisan/Certificate 18/Subtitles type sounds. I believe the MJ.com heads already have copy of that one. Right?

EDIT: And also - on topic. I have Wired World of Sports II on CD if you wanna burn it Fents.
