MB.com - Golf - Expressions of interest

Post by Feigan »

So,

Who on here is keen on a bit of golf action now that we're heading into the warmer months once again?

Expressions of interest to be listed below

Weekend or Weeknight sessions?

what courses would people like to play?

Tournament styles or friendly hit?

I'm there!

Wattle Park is a public course.
@ the end of No. 70 Tram, Cnr. Warrigal & Riversdale
Wicked park for BBQ/party also..

Ambrose is probably best bet, unless any of us can actually play...

I hold the record @ Ballina Golf Club for Night Golf -7 for 9 holes
(along with 3 other mates that can actually play)

I am the Mr. Myagi of the green...

Reminds me of a joke I heard the other day...
"A bloke walks into a bar & orders a double entendre, so the barmaid gave him one."

will we get Pete Tong styled club & course tips?

Here's my shortlist for courses that suit a low key drinking game of golf that are around town or out towards the East.

Freeway Golf
Elsternwick Public
Wattle Park
Albert Park
Burnley

This is good, I'm liking the expression of interests

so - let's talk dates, who wants to play when?

This is JBS at the second hole. Feigan up on the green after a selection process like .. no .. other. Stalwart of the scene and recent selector of a putter.

Couldn't find a dictionary.. Lindemon's Definition...
Entendre (On-ton-dra) - a word with 2 different meanings

So, in reference to the joke above, the barmaid gave him the drink he ordered, & also had sex with him...

It's possible that I've mispelt it, but I don't think so....

Back to the Golf... Tournament 1 of the Calendar is the "Jasper Parnevik - What the Fuck is that you're wearing?" Championship, to be staged @ Wattle Park, Box Hill Sth. - Sunday 5th Nov.

I think you can guess the theme....

I'm in for sure. I vote par 3 at kew just to begin with. Then move on to ivanhoe or yarra bend (better places). However weekends might be a little hard for me to do for the next month or so

Two caddies would be better.

You need downtime from pusching the trundler to line up some shots
