They are crap, we have them at work. Battery lasts about 30 seconds & can only receive first three lines of email.jbs wrote:

surely you could change the activesync settings to get more than that.
Windows Mobile is what irks me about those Hermes models (the i-mate JasJam is pretty much the same phone). memory leaks etc. (not bad otherwise.)
still looking for the holy grail.

Don't think so, we had company reps in for training though you could be right since who pays attention at training and it could be due to memory card.system wrote:surely you could change the activesync settings to get more than that.

i got a new motorola Z3 the other day... mmm i like it! easy to use and the layout is completely different than the previous ones. its a slide phone (drool) and its camera's not bad.
They go for about $250 on eBay inc postage which is good. the casing is really nice and smooth too. A1!

The rubber plant was surprised. If the rubber plant could have spoken, it wouldn't have said anything. That's how surprised the rubber plant was.

a guy from work just got the latest Nokia with GPS etc (can't rememebr the model number). Anyway, he reckons the battery is shite. Dead after one day.fooishbar wrote:getting a fix with the n95 can require a bit of patience, but it's not too bad.breaksRbest wrote:I want the new Nokia with the built-in GPS unit

I reckon his must be faulty.. looks nice though.
Phones are overated IMO
actually, i've had to charge my n90 three times in a weekend before, so i can believe it. depends a lot on where you are and the network: for some reason, having no network or being somewhere with very low reception will cause my phone to go insane and eat all its battery.stovequeen wrote:a guy from work just got the latest Nokia with GPS etc (can't rememebr the model number). Man Australia is behind the game when it comes to mobiles after witnessing the cats and their phones in Japan.
Everyone using GPS & internet as the normal day activity, all our contacts used email as their point of contact on their phone, so instead of getting numbers, I was getting email addresses.
Hard to explain, but we are behind, a lot.
